ABOUT ME

Being a faculty member in the College of Education at James Madison University, has afforded me the opportunity to extend my personal and professional reach beyond this continent.

I have participated in a service project in Dominica, and four times I have served as faculty advisor for students studying abroad in Italy.  In 2014 fall, I was invited by one of my Chinese graduate students to visit China! I now see the world, the way I teach, my experiences, my students and privileges that we so often take for granted, in a new light.

I am  a professional member of the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education, Phi Delta Kappa, Society for Human Resource Management, American Society for Training and Development as well as the Academy for Human Resource Development.
